This policy explains what information MistWake collects through mistwake.online and the $1 VIP reservation flow, and how that information is used.
Who operates this site

What we collect
- Email address — if you join the free launch list or complete a $1 VIP reservation, we collect the email you provide so we can send you launch and campaign updates.
- Payment and reservation information — if you complete a $1 VIP reservation, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Where we operate a server-side system, we may store your Stripe customer/session ID, payment status, reservation timestamp, and refund status.
- Advertising and analytics identifiers — with your consent, we use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Google Analytics, which may set cookies and collect device/browser information, UTM campaign parameters, and click identifiers (such as Meta's
fbclid,_fbc, and_fbp) to measure which pages and ads lead to reservations and sign-ups.
Cookie categories and consent
This site uses a cookie banner with three categories: Necessary (always on — required for the site and checkout to function), Analytics (Google Analytics — only loaded if you accept), and Advertising (Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel — only loaded if you accept). How we use this information
We use your email to send updates about the MistWake Kickstarter campaign, including launch notifications and your private VIP reward link. We use analytics and advertising data to understand which pages and ads lead to reservations and sign-ups, and to report conversion events back to Meta, TikTok, and Google in aggregate or hashed form. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data retention
We retain reservation and email-list records for as long as needed to deliver your VIP reward, respond to support and refund requests, and meet our own legal and accounting obligations, after which records are deleted or anonymized. Specific retention periods: [to be confirmed].
