These terms cover the $1 VIP reservation offered at mistwake.online by [legal business or individual name — to be provided]. MistWake is currently in pre-launch and has not yet run its Kickstarter campaign.
What the $1 reservation is
The $1 reservation is a one-time fee that unlocks eligibility for a private Kickstarter VIP reward priced $50 below MistWake's planned standard retail price. The planned retail price itself is not published on this site. The $1 reservation:
- Is not a purchase of the MistWake device.
- Is not a Kickstarter pledge.
- Is not credited toward your eventual Kickstarter pledge — your pledge is a separate transaction made directly through Kickstarter, which will require its own Kickstarter account.
- Does not reserve a specific unit or guarantee delivery of a finished product, since MistWake has not yet completed manufacturing or shipped any units.
- Does not guarantee that the Kickstarter campaign will fund, launch on any particular date, or result in a manufactured product.
Shipping and taxes
Shipping costs and any applicable taxes are not included in the $1 reservation fee and will be calculated separately as part of your eventual Kickstarter pledge.
Redemption
If the campaign launches, we will email your private reward link and redemption instructions to the address used for your reservation. Reservation eligibility may be subject to a redemption window once the campaign launch date is confirmed; that window will be disclosed by email and is not yet set as of this writing. Long-stop date (the date by which the campaign must launch or reservations are automatically refunded): [no date has been set — to be added once confirmed].
Refunds
You can request a full refund of your $1 reservation at any time before the Kickstarter campaign launches by emailing support@mistwake.online.
If the campaign never launches or is canceled
If the Kickstarter campaign does not launch, or is canceled after launching but before funding, all $1 reservation fees will be refunded to the original payment method.
Project risk
MistWake is a pre-launch hardware project. A working prototype exists, but the final retail product, pricing, and timeline are subject to change as development continues. As with any crowdfunding project, there is no guarantee the campaign will reach its funding goal or that the final product will match every detail described on this site.
